Luke's Baby Shower

December 12 was Luke's baby shower! And boy is he a lucky little guy (and we are pretty lucky too!) to have so many people who love him already! It was a very rainy day (I think it must be good luck somehow to have showers on your shower!), but so many friends and family came to eat, talk, laugh, play some silly games and to welcome Luke to this crazy world! It was a perfect day...almost. My mom AND dad (aka Grandma Donna and Grandpa Phil) got very sick the night before with the stomach flu and weren't able to come to the shower. It was very sad for all of us to not have them there...they were missed!!

My best friend Christy did an amazing job with all of the sea life decorations! They were perfect! Luke's best buddy, Caleb. This is Christy's little man--we are so excited to have our boys grow up together and see how much trouble they get into together!

Thanks Christy, Kim, and Grandma Donna and Grandma Pat for everything you did for Luke (and Rob and I)! It was an amazing day that I will never forget!
And thank you to everyone else who has shown so much love and support and who came to the shower despite the pouring rain (seriously...it NEVER rains like that in Southern California!) to welcome our little guy!
